Monthly AWA General Meetings are open to current and prospective members. 

We begin our monthly general meetings with a social time with coffee/tea.  We welcome new visitors and are happy to answer any questions about living in Aberdeen.  We typically invite a speaker to come and share something of interest. 

Past speakers have been from the Aberdeen tourist information center, the National Trust for Scotland, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, local pantomime groups, the DVLA (vehicle licensing agency), The British Red Cross, a life-change coach, women’s health professionals, antique specialists, a gemologist, a famous Scottish Fiddler, and many more! 

Announcements are made to publicize upcoming special events and tickets are sold for raffle prizes with winning tickets drawn at the close of the meeting.  Proceeds from the raffle benefit our designated annual charity.
